The new TRUMPF 5030 10K Fiber TruLaser optimizes cutting efficiency and operates with minimal gas consumption, allowing BTD to streamline operations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cOur focus is always on our customers and finding ways we can best serve them,\u201d said Paul Gintner, BTD Manufacturing president. \u201cImprovements like the addition of this new fiber laser allows us to produce more in less time while ensuring we maintain our commitment to providing the highest quality parts to our customers.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The TruLaser\u2019s High Speed Eco cutting process allows it to double its rate of production when processing medium sheet thicknesses. In addition, the machine monitors the cutting process and automatically adapts parameters, resulting in optimal cutting efficiencies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new laser is equipped with a CoolLine nozzle that mists water around the laser as it operates to mitigate heat from the surrounding material. This allows for cleaner and shorter sheet head entry to the part profiles and enables the machine to cut small contours.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The addition of the new laser is a testament to the company\u2019s<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ongoing focus on improving efficiencies, expanding to meet the growing needs of customers, and broadening capabilities across all its locations. BTD has increased its menu of services since its inception more than 40 years ago, expanding into a variety of custom metalwork services such as metal fabrication, stamping, machining, powder coating, robotic welding and tubing.
