The improvements allow the company to better serve its customer base through shorter lead-times, while driving efficiencies in the supply chain.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Georgia facility\u2019s new stamping press is a Komatsu OBS110. The unit has a 110-ton capacity and offers optimal consistency and part quality. It features a bolster size of 27.5 inches deep by 43.375 inches wide. Its feed line maximum thickness is 0.105 inches by 18 inches to 0.165 inches by 6 inches.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The addition of the 110-ton stamping press in Georgia comes on the heels of the installation of a 300-ton stamping press and the acquisition of a 70,000 square-foot warehouse in Buford, Georgia. These significant commitments to the Southeast illustrate BTD\u2019s resolve for growth in the region.<\/span><\/p>\n
