The improvements allow the company to better serve its customer base through shorter lead-times, while driving efficiencies in the supply chain.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe know our customers\u2019 success relies on our capabilities to not only provide them with parts that meet the highest standards, but also to provide those parts as efficiently as we can. In this market space, customers are relying on improved efficiencies more than ever,\u201d said Paul Gintner, BTD Manufacturing president.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Georgia facility\u2019s new stamping press is a Komatsu OBS110. The unit has a 110-ton capacity and offers optimal consistency and part quality. It features a bolster size of 27.5 inches deep by 43.375 inches wide. Its feed line maximum thickness is 0.105 inches by 18 inches to 0.165 inches by 6 inches.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The addition of the 110-ton stamping press in Georgia comes on the heels of the installation of a 300-ton stamping press and the acquisition of a 70,000 square-foot warehouse in Buford, Georgia. These significant commitments to the Southeast illustrate BTD\u2019s resolve for growth in the region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The company has an ongoing focus on improving efficiencies, expanding to meet the growing needs of customers, and broadening its capabilities.
