DETROIT LAKES, MINN. \u2014 June 12, 2020\u2014 <\/span>The Fabricator<\/span><\/i> magazine has recognized <\/span>BTD Manufacturing<\/span><\/a>, a custom metal fabrication manufacturer, as the second largest metal fabricating operation in the U.S. The publication\u2019s FAB 40 list identifies the 40 most successful manufacturers based on their previous year\u2019s reported revenue.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the last three years, BTD has earned the No. 3 spot on the FAB 40 list. The company credits much of its success to its investment in its employees, technologies and services.<\/span><\/p>\n

BTD recently became a <\/span>dual-training employer<\/span><\/a>, allowing several of its locations to pair a classroom-style curriculum with structured on-the-job learning, giving employees an accelerated path to certification in a variety of areas, including welding, CNC and quality assurance. The company also offers its employees several other enrichment initiatives and programs specific to metal fabrication, including its online learning portal, BTD University.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
